- X-Men: The Last Stand Epilogue: Did you stay past the credits? If not, here’s a grainy video of what you missed. Also: the next one had better rock hard or this franchise is dead.
- Virginity or Death!: Two seperate pharmcos have HPV vaccines, which could eliminate 7 out of 10 cases of cervical cancer. They are not in widespread use. Care to guess why? “It’s honor killing on the installment plan.”

- Gonzales Says Prosecutions of Journalists Are Possible - New York Times: “The government has the legal authority to prosecute journalists for publishing classified information, [Attorney General] Gonzales said yesterday.” Who has the legal authority to remove from office a political appointee who is obviously insane?
- How to Silkscreen Posters and Shirts: Why do these tutorials always make it seem so damn complicated to make a T-Shirt? Because, apparently, it is that damn complicated. Something to consider when plunking down your $15.
Damn, that’s pretty. Okay then:
- There was an issue with group pools and the Thumbnails enhancer (a <div> became a <p>). I fixed it.
- RIP: Flickr User Icon Enhancer ist kaput, as there is no more need for it. The user icons are perfect now. Completely and totally ideal. Bravo.
- As I always have to have my ‘Last 24 Hours’ fix, here’s a script to add a link to the last 24 hours of Interestingness to the new Explore button.
That’s really all the changes that needed to be made. This is going much more smoothly than I thought it would. And once again: damn, that’s pretty.
I’ve been obsessed lately with ‘Yo Mama’ jokes, at least partly due to the hilarity that ensues when a group of people start trading them while one or more of the participant’s mothers is actually in the room. (Really. Pause and ponder for a second. Okay.) There’s just one problem, though: it seems like nearly every possible yo mama joke has already been told, and everybody’s heard them. So I figured, naturally, that it was time for some post-millennial mama jokes. Here’s what I have so far:
- Yo Mama’s the first result when you google “ugly.”
- Yo Mama’s so dumb, she shorted GOOG at 200. In 2005.
- Yo Mama joined MySpace, and not even Tom wanted to be her friend.
- Yo Mama is the 4,715,558,193 most popular member on Consumating.
- Yo Mama posted a self-portrait to Flickr and got NIPSA’d. In the photo, she was fully clothed. In fact, it was a headshot.
Okay, that’s all I got. Post your own, and happy Mother’s Day!
- Convert M4B, AA, M4P, + M4V to non-DRM versions with Tunebite: Now that there’s a way around the iTunes 6 DRM scheme, I’ll go and see what this whole iTMS thing is about. As I refuse to be told what I can and can’t do with something I paid for, I’ve hadn’t yet sent any money Apple’s way.
- Desktop Earth: Semi real-time images of Earth for your desktop in two flavors: a windows app and a web version. Byootiful.

- FlickrBlog: Changes Afoot: “The pink balloon? Popped! Now you can mouse over buddy icons [to] jump directly to photos, profile, favorites and more.” Yaaay! I think these and the other changes will obviate most of my greasemonkey scripts. Have to look for something else to fix…

So I was bored at work tonight, despite my new cellphone and data plan combined with Bloglines mobile, so I decided to create a mobile version of Flickr Interestingness. Total amount of time it took me to write this: 20 minutes. I ♥ the Flickr API.
