Late to the game, I know, but GeoURL seems like an interesting project. Sad that of the two sites listed within 50 miles of me, one has been silent since April and the other apparently no longer exists. I, of course, found another use for all this data: if you use this Mapper Scriptlet on a page that includes GeoURL META tags (it does not function with GeoTags), you’ll see a satellite photo of the location courtesy of the ACME Mapper. Looking forward, a CMS tied to GPS that supplies your current location and pings GeoURL every time you update is a fun thought.
