I drop off the the face of the web for a few weeks and look what happens. Jeesh. Anything I could write, any reaction I could have, is pretty much redundant by this point. Which in a way is a good thing, because it saves me from having to decide how to feel about it.

I have literally felt my interest in politics atrophy over the last month. For the first time since I’ve been paying attention, there truly isn’t anyone with visibility and political cachet who gives a shit what I think. It makes the political news that saturates the media seem like an assault. I can’t help but tune it out.
