Ooops. forgot to actually put the webmaster edition in there… fixed.
T minus 42 minutes. Hehe. (I’m such a complete geek…)
The NYTimes UberBookmarket. Logs you in as cipherpunk if you’re at that annoying log in page, and prompts you for the URL of a NYTimes story if you’re not. Also, the Webmaster Edition, which prompts for a url and then spits back the proper address to link to so that your readers don’t have to deal with the login screen. Copyleft: use, distribute, link back.
Heard about this little lovely today on Morning Edition. Their coverage went into much, much greater depth than the AP story. Among the little fact nuggets not in the AP story: 29 of 30 arrested were, you guessed it, black. Twenty-nine. Of thirty. Institutional racism, what’s that?
I tested this morning, but I didn’t want to contribute to the meme. But since everybody else* seems to be doing it: 67% geek. What is an aversion to meme-spreading in the face of such blatant peer pressure? Anyway, I completely echo Mr. Coates’ sentiments on the thing. I’d've probably scored somewhere in the 80’s if that quiz weren’t so skewed.
* Hyperbole makes the world go ’round.
Well, it seems my gaydar is back on track this week. I’m not crippled and doomed to a life of loneliness! Yay! ;)
Fixed a minor problem with the new links thing. Mainly that it was, um, stupid. Fixed.
PR3 is out. I might download it later, but I’ll probably just wait for M18. I’m too chicken to download the nightlies, but I’ve heard almost-unbelievably positive things about recent builds. And no, not just in places you expect to hear them.
Oh, good. I drifted off to sleep sometime yesterday afternoon, and about 30 minutes after I woke up this morning, I realized that I had probably missed even more shows I had been planning to watch. But it turns out that’s not the case. So, for the first and last time let me say: thank goodness for presidential debates and baseball playoffs!
