I really worry about our nation. There has been no worse president in my lifetime, or in our parent’s lifetime. So many are apathetic or just ignorant of what is happening. People are being spoon fed propaganda, and asking “Please sir, may I have some more?” How has this country gotten to a place where a majority of the citizens elected this man not once but twice? Rights are being taken away in the guise of fighting terrorism, and all I hear is silence from the majority of the people I know. Checks and balances that were established when this country was created are being dissolved and all I hear is silence. What the hell is wrong with people?

I blame the media. Who cares what Condi knew and when, that was five years ago. Some congressman likes to have sex with teenagers, then put him in jail, like anyone else. Legislation passes that so guts the rights of american citizens that it makes you wonder what it even means to be an american anymore, don’t bury it in the back pages! That’s what should be on the front page, along with a list of all the senators and representatives that voted for it, and their telephone and fax numbers.
