Once More... a farce in many parts. A comedy in others.

Blog Guilt

Posted on November 28th, 2005

When I’m this quiet for this long, it usually means there’s nothing going on at the moment that really excites me. This time that’s not the case. There is, really, nothing going on web- or news-wise that really seems new and interesting right now, but I also have many ideas and plans going on that are completely not web-related.

In recognition of this fact, and the fact that I need something to write about so that I don’t go completely crazy, I shall warn you now that I’m probably going to be blogging my new apartment, my first home network, and all of the HGTV-inspired projects I’m going to be working on. Despite the last few months’ worth of content, I’m not a tech blogger. I’m also not the type of blogger who’s going to tell you about the raging diarrhea I’ve had for the last week. Er… usually, that is.

Even after five years, none of this is ever nailed down or unchangeable, because I’m not either of those things, and neither is the medium or the technology for that matter. Some correspondence I received recently makes me think maybe it’s time for a reminder that no one is under any obligation to read this, ever, and I am under no obligation to write it. This is a hobby. It helps keep me sane. Period the end. It will never be available in book form, and if you’re so keen on me that you want a t-shirt or a sticker, then make one. Okay? All right then. Glad we got that covered.
